LIMITED FIVE YEAR WARRANTY

IceCOLD® has been formulated and manufactured to provide a high level of trouble-free performance. IceCOLD® embodies many years of experience in formulation of industrial lubricants, and many years of experience in high-tech manufacturing and customer service. IceCOLD™ is only sold through a network of authorized dealers. Only IceCOLD™ purchased from an authorized dealer is covered by the terms of this warranty.

IceCOLD® is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. When IceCOLD® is properly installed, any compressor system proved to be damaged solely by the product will be repaired or replaced. In the event of failure, owner must provide proof of regular maintenance and records of any repairs made during the term of this warranty.  This warranty shall extend for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase to the original purchaser/end-user only, and is not assignable or transferable without prior written consent of IceCOLD, L.L.P.  Such consent will not be unreasonably withheld.  If IceCOLD™ is installed by Owner’s installers and it is determined that the proper recommended installation procedure was not followed, this warranty will be null and void. This warranty is limited to actual damage to treated equipment, and does not include incidental or consequential damages or damages of any other kind or character. This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been subject to misuse, abuse, mishandling, tampering, spillage or contamination or any defects or damage caused by improper handling or storage by Owner’s installers.

IceCOLD® AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTIES

IceCOLD® meets or exceeds all major equipment manufacturers' warranty standards for compressor oils. The Federal Trade Commission’s Magnusson-Moss Consumer Product Warranty Act of 1992 prohibits compressor manufacturers from voiding their warranties because of the addition of third party oil additives in consumer applications, unless that equipment manufacturer proves that the lubricant harmed the equipment.  There has been no such notice since 1996 when the non-chlorinated product IceCOLD® was introduced.
